Cook oatmeal in a metal thermos. Use Whole Oat Groats or Steel Cut Oats for
best results and taste. Preheat thermos
by filling it with very hot water and letting it set. Empty thermos. Add 1 part
Whole Oat Groats and 3 parts boiling water to thermos or 1 part Steel Cut Oats
to 3.5 parts boiling water. Leave plenty
expansion room. Shake well. Lay the thermos on its side. Let
set overnight.
Home Food Storage: Purchase jam or jelly.
