First Aid Kit Levels



Minimal first aid kit
Miscellaneous sizes of individual bandages
Long wide strips of cloth such as sheets, muslin, or cotton fabric
     1.  Fold into bandages 
     2.  Use for a sling 
     3.  Tear into narrow strips to secure bandages).
Bottle of water or and/or saline solution (Use soap and water or saline for cleaning wounds.)
Small sliver of soap in a resealable bag
Feminine flat and cylindrical products are excellent for major injuries
Wipes or hand sanitizer for cleaning your hands before and after wound care.
Disposable gloves
Pain relievers
Sting and bite cream
Antihistamine
Antibiotic cream

Add to above for a Basic first aid kit
Medication taken daily (at least one day’s worth)
Epipen (if needed)
Tweezers
Safety pins
Small sharp scissors
Instant cold pack
Burn cream
Petroleum jelly
Adhesive tape
Tongue depressors or popsicle/craft sticks
Emergency Blanket/foil blanket
Resealable bags (dispose of used items or cut open to shield wound from the elements)

Iodine/iodine wipes
Alcohol/alcohol wipes

Cotton ball and/or swabs
