Substitutions for 1 Cup of Milk:
1) 1/2 Cup evaporated milk plus 1/2 cup water.
2) 1 Cup of almond, soy or any other milk substitute.
3) 1 Cup water plus 1 1/2 tsp butter for baking.
4) 1 Cup fruit juice or potato water for baking.

Week 34 - Flour Substitutions, Purchase Canned Soup

Cooking Substitutions for One Cup of Flour:
1) 1 Cup + 2 Tbsp cake flour
2) 1 Cup - 1Tbsp whole wheat flour
3) 1 1/3 Cups rolled oats (good for bread)
4) 1 Cup of bread crumbs ground to a powder

Week 33 - Egg Substitutes, Purchase Jello
Week 33 - July 14
Cooking Substitutions for eggs:
1) 1 in every 3 eggs can be replaced with 1 Tbsp of cornstarch.
2) Soften 1Tbsp unflavored gelatin in 3Tbsp cold water; add 3 tsp boiling water; cool and beat until frothy;
add to recipe (reduce other liquid by 2 Tbsp) = 1 egg.
3) 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 Tbsp vinegar and 1 Tbsp liquid = 1 egg.

Make your
own brown sugar by mixing 1 Cup granulated sugar with 1 Tbsp unsulfured
molasses. For darker brown sugar add 1
more Tbsp of molasses.
